Elusive Inverted Book Sloth spotted in Northern Utah

The very rare Inverted Book Sloth has been seen hanging out in Petersboro. I think it is called "Makelle".

OK, it was just a test on uploading a photo. . . . .
That Makelle is a reading fool. We went to "meet the 1st grade teacher night" and the teacher had Makelle read for her, then do some numbers and stuff, and said, "Well, I don't have a single thing in my classroom that she isn't already beyond." Sooooo, I'm wondering why we're starting her out in 1st grade versus 2nd? May have to pursue that.

I love it. It may take awhile for me to get bold enough for pics. I'm impressed. We thought about moving Erin up in first grade but basically because her birthday is so late we decided that we would leave her and then if she wanted to push it in high school and graduate early she could. And she could have very easily but was having too much fun. So there's my POV. JO

If Jolynn had moved her kids up then we wouldn't have been able to date until we were seniors in high school. That means we would have missed out on a lot of dances including junior prom. Maybe I'm just biased because I planned my junior prom and would have been sad to miss it, but I think staying with your age group and just being way smarter than everyone else is a smart idea. Plus it makes you feel good when everyone tells you that you are the smartest person in your grade.

I guess I'm one who sees little benefit in high school, and the sooner you escape the better. College life is where it's at. WAY more fun. K-12 is a fair amount of wasted time.

But that's just my perspective. Maybe I'm still sore about not ever going to any high school dances. Hmmmm, no. Still don't miss not having gone. And I turned out OK. Right? RIGHT!?!? (No comment necessary here.) :-)
